DI Records presents Retribution, the latest single from The Despair Collective, releasing March 2, 2026.

The band’s most aggressive track to date, Retribution blends symphonic metal atmosphere with industrial textures and thrash-inspired guitar work. Primarily composed by guitarist Mike Longo, the song highlights the heavier side of the band’s sound while maintaining their signature cinematic style.

The track also marks the first song to prominently feature session vocalist Carolina Pedron, who has appeared on previous releases including Saints to Sinners, Breathe Again, Sunrise for the Soulless, and Electric Rebellion.

Produced by Mike Longo and Dana Fogle, with engineering, mixing, and mastering by renowned producer Yoad Nevo, Retribution explores the blurred line between justice and vengeance. Inspired by the idea that revenge often consumes those who pursue it, the song delivers a dark and energetic sonic experience that reflects both power and consequence.
