Dancing with Ghosts

The band was started by Josh Cannon back in 2015. After multiple attempts to work within a traditional band dynamic, Josh ventured off on his own and began writing, recording and performing his own music, releasing his first album, “Koyaanisqatsi” as a solo record under the DWG name.

Ari Grey, upon hearing that solo album, became a fan and quickly assimilated into the band, contributing her vocals and lyric writing. Josh and Ari are huge Mental Health Advocates. Both members struggle with varying levels of Anxiety, OCD, and Insomnia, and their music reflects those themes.

DWG aims for each show to be that escape for someone, “Shows should envelope you not just with sound, but with visuals and feelings, allowing you to leave your day at the door”-Steph

DWG takes huge pride in being self-produced, from song recording to filming all their own music videos, this team of 2 really embodies the “do-it-yourself” approach to being an artist.

Dancing with Ghosts continues to put out new singles and is slated to put out their next album in early 2022
